Make sure you use the library pitchbook link to create an account using a vanderbilt email.
You should get an email from clientservices@updates.pitchbook.com with a link to set a password.
Once you have done so, you should be re-directed to the pitchbook.com website to login with your new credentials. (Note: You may need to hit the 'login' button a couple of times to get to the login page. Also, if you are not automatically routed there, you can just navigate to the page using your browser address/search bar/click the link above.)
On-campus set up tends to work better than off-site, at this time; make sure you are on the VU wifi (not the guest one).
Make sure to clear your browser cache/cookies once you get it working on campus, before trying again remotely.
