Pitchbook allows users to analyze private equity, venture capital, and mergers & acquisitions across the private investment lifecycle. Pitchbook is only licensed for academic, curricular use. Pitchbook is not allowed to be used for internships or commercial ventures.

Any current Vanderbilt student, faculty, or staff member can create a Pitchbook account with their Vanderbilt email address through our library Pitchbook portal.

Accounts will automatically reset each year on May 15th. You will need to create a new account when this happens. Make sure to use the library link from the Databases A to Z list to access the database after you create your account.

It is important to note that:

  • Downloading is limited. Individuals have a limit of 10 downloads per day and 25 downloads per month. One row of excel data, one image, one chart or one pdf counts as a download.
  • Pitchbook is licensed to be used for academic use only. When you register to create an account, you must view and agree to the terms of service.
