Q. How can I access the New York Times?

All students, faculty and staff can create accounts to access the New York Times.

To activate your subscription, start here.

• Search for and select Vanderbilt University
• Enter your Vanderbilt email address (note: this will not work with your owen.vanderbilt.edu email address, only vanderbilt.edu) 
• Select a password
• Select your status and input expected graduation date

NOTE: Students have access until the graduation date entered at sign up.
Faculty and staff have access for four years. If your access has expired, follow these steps to renew.

1. Connect to https://www.nytimes.com/activate-access/edu-access
2. Search for Vanderbilt.
3. Click on Already have an account? Log in.
4. Login with your NYT.com username and password.
5. You will see on-screen confirmation that your pass is reactivated.
