Q. Where can I find info on brand names?

In these databases, just enter the brand name and search:

• Business Source Complete
• Factiva
   

In Passport, you can find market share by brand. 

In Bloomberg: 

Enter [Ticker symbol] then [F8 equity]. Next chose [Related Securities] and then hit [Go].  On the next page, choose [Brands].
