What is Westlaw and how do I access it?
Westlaw is one of the most popular legal research databases. Law students, faculty, and staff may use it to locate federal and state primary law, in addition to key secondary sources. It also provides a number of useful practitioner resources, such as forms, briefs, and legal analytics tools.
For law students, faculty, and staff: Email Mark Williams and we will help you get set up!
For non-law students, faculty, staff, and members of the public: The Law Library has two public Westlaw terminals that you may use. Just stop by the Law Library's Circulation Desk and we can point you in the right direction. You might also check out Nexis Uni or Bloomberg Law, to see if they have what you need.
