Sometimes when I search a database, I see findit@VU. What is findit@VU?

When you do a search for an item in one of the Library databases, you will sometimes see a Find it at VU button button in the item record.

findit@VU provides direct links from a database citation to the full text of the article (if available) and other supporting resources.

For example, if you are looking for a journal and see the Find it at VU button button, click on it to go to the electronic version of the journal. Be aware of the coverage dates for the electronic version.

If you do not see the years you need in electronic format, the library may hold the print volumes. Or you may choose to make an InterLibrary Loan request.

An FAQ for Find it at VU button is also available.
