What is Interlibrary Loan (ILL)?

Interlibrary Loan (or ILL) is a free library service for Vanderbilt students, faculty, and staff.  ILL borrows or requests PDF scans of material that the Vanderbilt University Libraries do not own. This includes books, book chapters, journal articles, theses and dissertations, and, where possible, newspaper microfilm, music scores, and video and other media.
