How can alumni access databases from off-campus?

When on campus, alumni are able to access most of the library’s electronic resources. In addition, the library offers remote, off-campus, access to a select group of specially licensed alumni databases. To gain remote access, alumni will need a VUNet ID. If you do not already have one, request a VUNet ID by submitting the request via the Ask A Librarian button. To expedite the request, please indicate the school from which you graduated, and the year of graduation.
Vanderbilt alumni are eligible for access and borrowing privileges to the Vanderbilt Libraries. If you are in the Nashville area, you may obtain a card to access the libraries during restricted evening hours. Cards for University alumni are issued by Vanderbilt Card Services. Please see their website for more information.
Alumni will be asked for a photo ID for verification of status.
