Many errors encountered when accessing e-resources or using other web-based library tools can be resolved by clearing the data stored in the browser, specifically cookies and cache.

When you revisit a web page, the browser uses saved data from the cache to load the page faster. Clearing the cache deletes saved copies of web files from pages you have visited recently and forces the browser to fetch a fresh copy of everything.
Clearing browser cookies will cause the browser to forget any login information you have saved. Other personalized settings for specific websites may also be forgotten.
