Answer

On July 1, 2013 the Jean and Alexander Heard Library at Vanderbilt University launched its progressive new library website. The redesign takes into account library user feedback while capturing advances in web design to create a robust user-centered experience. Popular resources such as Acorn, the "Ask Us" service and the research guides remain on the website, while exciting new features were unveiled such as an All Search (combining all library resources into one search,) responsive design (providing an optimal viewing experience across a wide array of devices,) and a unified look and feel across all campus library web sites.

An interactive tool to help users become familiar with all website features is available at: http://www.library.vanderbilt.edu/webimages/interactive/
