Answer
For books only, the number of items that may be checked out depends on the category of the patron.
| Patron Catetory | Number of Books |
| faculty | 500 |
| graduate student | 300 |
| undergraduate student | 150 |
| staff | 300 |
| alumni | 50 |
| courtesy (e.g. Visiting Scholar) | 15 |
