Answer

To renew a book, do the following:

  1. Browse to the Acorn catalog (http://acorn.library.vanderbilt.edu).
  2. Choose the "Account Login" link in the red bar near the top of the page.
  3. Log in using your VUnet ID and password.
  4. On the resulting page, click on the "Renew My Materials" link in the center of the page.
  5. Put a check mark next to the items you wish to renew.
  6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Renew Selected Items" link.
  7. On the resulting page, you'll see whether the renewal was successful or not.  If it wasn't, you'll want to bring the items into the library so that a staff member can assist you.
