What does "in process" mean and why isn't that book on the shelf?

Materials that have been ordered and received but are not yet on the shelves are listed in the ACORN catalog with a location of "IN PROCESS", "ASK STAFF", "BAKER HOLD", or "VERIFICATION".  Click the "RUSH THIS ITEM" button beside the location in Acorn and complete the form.  These items normally are available within 4-6 days; you will be notified when it is available.
